Welcome to Lake Lure Beach!
Relax under the sun, float on the water, build sand castles, or picnic with family and friends. Lake Lure Beach is the perfect getaway. For a soaking good time, visit our water park with water slide and water wars.
BEACH HOURS 2024
Hours of Operation: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
The Beach will open 7 days a week beginning Saturday, May 25, 2024
(Memorial Day weekend) through Sunday, August 11, 2024.
The Beach will be open weekends only on the following dates:
Saturday, August 17 - Sunday, August 18
Saturday, August 24 Sunday, August 25
Saturday, August 31 - Monday, Sept 2 (Labor Day weekend)
Please note the beach will close at 4:30 pm on the following dates for private events:

Admission to the water park is included in beach admission price.
BEACH RULES
- Minimum height for water slide is 45 in.
- Children 16 and under must be accompanied by adult.
- Free admission for Lake Lure residents. Must show valid proof of ID (NC Driver's License of ID card with address).
- Groups of 20+ receive $1 off admission price (group must be paid for in single transaction).
- Pets are not allowed on the beach.
- Lifeguards on duty.
- No refunds due to bad weather.
- Outside water balloons are not permitted.
- Coolers are permitted, however glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Grills are not permitted.
- Oversized floats are not permitted.
- Snorkels are not permitted.
- Proper beach attire required. Material must be designed for swimming and consist of tops and bottoms.
RETAIL STORE
Our on site beach house sells towels, chairs, sunscreen, floats, toys, and more. Water balloons may be purchased at beach house for water wars.
